The metalworking manufacturing company run by the family Devos is widely known for its professional expertise both in Belgium, in Europe and far beyond. Our operational base in the heart of West-Flanders is ideally situated for our type of business.
It is equipped with an impressive fleet of state-of-the-art machinery, so the metalworking industry no longer holds any secrets for us. The main advantage is that we can combine our modern CNC-controlled machines with our conventional mechanical machines, and this enables us to always manufacture as cost-effectively as possible.
Since 1971 we have been combining our craftsmanship, enthusiasm and passion to ensure that our customers always receive top Belgian quality products. Metafox continuously invests in innovation, and that really forms the strength of the entire operation.
By not only manufacturing functional furniture, but by also acting as a supplier, Metafox is able to tap into all the various sectors of the metal market and thus ensures stability on the production floor.
Supplier
In its capacity as a supplier Metafox specialises in all of the processes that can be performed on pipework and/or profiles. We manufacture individual components but also completely welded and finished end assemblies and anything in between.
Our modern CNC-controlled fleet of machinery including pipe lasers, welding robots, pipe bending machinery, finishing stations, etc. offers countless possibilities. Our plant not only produces high-precision design components but also more basic building structures to the specific requirements and needs of our customers. And this both in steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

There are many different industries on the market, and each has its own specific requirements as far as furniture is concerned. We strive to offer a wide product range for every type of industry.
In collaboration with our customers and based on thorough analysis of their needs, Metafox systematically manufactures new products. In the process, careful attention is always paid to ergonomics, user-friendliness, aesthetics, durability and sustainability, functionality, quality and design.

Quality is our company’s core value. In our manufacturing process, we only use top-quality durable and sustainable materials. All our raw materials and outsourced services are thoroughly inspected upon delivery. In order to guarantee continuity, we process as many components in-house as possible. However, if this cannot be achieved, we rely on certified partners to provide back up.

In-house designers
We are extremely proud to pay tribute to some of our team members; our in-house design team. Designers are a breed apart, and they are so inspiring and brimming with ideas. They serve the human race, with their innate drive to improve the world and to make it more pleasant for mankind. They are driven to develop that which may cause you the greatest concern at this particular moment in time or something which you may really need.
They offer a bespoke service and in doing so they pay careful attention to the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of the project. Brainstorming sessions result in AutoCAD drawings, which then lead to the production process specifications and the manufacture of prototypes. Time and time again the production of a prototype gives us that WOW feeling. It is as it were the birth of a new product. After some fine-tuning and final adjustments here and there, it can be marketed and can flourish.

Sustainability
With our state-of-the-art machinery we constantly strive to manufacture as efficiently as possible. The majority of our products are made from recyclable or recycled materials. We only use scarce natural resources in the end product if they carry the necessary quality and environmental certificates. If we use wood in our products, we only accept PEFC-certified wood. This is our way of contributing to sustainable woodland management.
In addition, 85% of our own power usage is covered by our solar panels which provide 600,000 Watt Peak.
