Aluminium nadar AN2100
Our Metafox-nadar (length 2100 mm) is made entirely of aluminium with a unique aluminium-silicon alloy.
BENEFITS ALUMINIUM
- Low weight: 3 x lighter than steel; only 2.7 kg/dm³.
- Strong: the use of a special alloy and a modified design can match the strength of steel.
- Durable: when exposed to air an oxide layer is formed, protecting the aluminium from further corrosion.
- Environmentally friendly: aluminium nadars need no varnish or other harmful protective coating. Moreover, the nadar is 100% recyclable.
- Not toxic: the materials used are non-toxic and therefore safe to use around children.
- Easy mending: A steel nadar is difficult to repair due to rust or the galvanised finish. An aluminium nadar, however, can be easily repaired.
CONSTRUCTION AND TECHNICAL FEATURES
- The Metafox nadar is made of aluminium tubes 38 x 2 mm (frame) and 19 x 1.5 mm (bars).
- Length: 2120 mm.
- Height: 1100 mm, weight: 7kg.
- The nadar is welded (no extrusion tube) with an aluminium-silicon wire.
- The legs are welded lengthwise with fully sealed welds to improve strength.
- The legs are angled at 40° and are fully integrated.
- Extra reinforced tube in large legs by an insert in the tube 2.5 mm thick. See image opposite.
- The end caps are convex and are made of hard-wearing non-slip plastic with red or yellow colour. This eliminates sharp tube ends and allows them to be used on all indoor and outdoor floor types without causing damage.
LINKING AND STACKING
- The unique shape of the Metafox nadar (2 large and 2 small legs) allows 2 connected nadars to be rotated over 150° in 2 directions.
- The large hooks and loops guarantee easy coupling of the nadars.
- Due to the unique design of the legs, the Metafox-nadar is very compactly rectilinear stackable.
- Extra-reinforced hook.
