As a supplier we are often asked to keep a certain level of intermediate stock. This can be organised on the basis of various agreements. For example, if our customers give us a call-off guarantee, we can determine the optimum batch sizes for weekly picking to ensure that the items are delivered just in time to the customer. This is yet another way in which we try to offer our customers added value.
