ROEL VANDEBEEK
All-round designer Roel Vandebeek (°1970) studied Media, Arts and Design in Genk. He set up his own design agency, Beek Design, at the end of 1996. Ever since then, he has carried out assignments for both Belgian and international companies in a wide range of sectors. His designs look original and timeless. And even though they have been designed with the utmost care, they often include a touch of humour. Whereas Roel Vandebeek focuses primarily on product and furniture design in his studio, his artwork is a lot like the visual arts. He is getting an increasing number of requests to design public spaces.
ON LEGS
The Contour (from the Chairme range) is available in several versions. However, the 'mother version' remains this four-legged model. The symbiosis between seat shell and base gives the design plenty of character.
CHOOSE YOUR MATERIAL
The seat shell folds completely to your taste and needs. Natural varnished beech, veneer, laminate or do you prefer a stain or lacquer finish? It's all possible.
EXTRA COMFORT
The Contour becomes even more comfortable when you have it fully or partially upholstered. A downy-soft extra.
